Museum Policies | The following policies are in place to protect the artwork and ensure that everyone has an enjoyable visit
- Photography for personal use is permitted. Flash photography, monopods, tripods, selfie sticks and video cameras are not permitted.
- Please turn off cell phones and pagers while in the museum or lobby.
- As a courtesy to our other guests, we ask that you use your "Museum Voice," speaking softly to avoid disturbing others.
- For the comfort of our visitors and the protection of the art, we are a non-smoking facility. Smokers are invited to use the courtyard on the north side of the building.
- Due to the acidic nature of human body oils, works of art may not be touched.
- Children should not be carried on visitors backs or shoulders, and we ask parents to keep a close eye on little ones to prevent any damage.
- Strollers are permitted, however they must be under the control of an adult at all times.
- Pets are not permitted at any time, with the exception of Guide Dogs, which are always welcome.
- Weapons are never permitted in the Museum.
- All Museum visitors are required to wear shirts and shoes.
- Food and beverages, packages, backpacks, and briefcases must be left at the front desk while you are visiting the Museum. Please place all umbrellas in the umbrella stand. Space is provided next to the water fountain for hanging coats and hats.
